Caps Fans Will Now Have To Get Tickets To Attend Game 5 Viewing Party

WASHINGTON — Capitals fans will now have to get tickets in order to attend Thursday’s Stanley Cup Final Game 5 viewing party starting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

“We’ve had such overwhelming and energetic response to the viewing parties that we wanted to make sure that we kept the arena safe and kept the crowd at a good size,” said Kate Bedingfield, Vice President of Communications for Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

Fans should visit www.washingtoncaps.com/viewingparty to retrieve tickets ahead of Thursday’s viewing party.

For those who will not be able to attend the viewing party, there will be a free outside viewing party. The game will be played on the jumbotron outside of the arena at G Street and 8 Street.

Prior to the Game 5 viewing party, there will be a Mystics game at the arena.
