WASHINGTON — The National Zoo certainly knows how to break the Internet. It just points its webcams on young panda Bei Bei and waits for an “aww moment.”
One of those came Wednesday, when the 21-month-old male panda was seen climbing a tree – a common activity for pandas, we’re told.
It’s apparently common for them to fall out of trees as well. Good to know that extra fat is good for something. Bei Bei bounced – and was apparently just fine after his fall.
Watch the video below:
🐼 Sometimes when #BeiBei goes out on a limb…it breaks. But he’s fine! Giant pandas are built to withstand falls, so he popped back up and climbed up again. #PandaStory pic.twitter.com/nZIBl7fhoS
