Reps. Jordan and Meadows: McCabe Lied Four Times (Fox News)

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) joined Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” Thursday night to reveal new information about the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and to explain why it’s more evidence of the need for a second special counsel.

McCabe was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions earlier this month — just hours before his planned retirement — after the Justice Department’s inspector general determined McCabe was not truthful during his review of the Clinton email investigation and the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility recommended his firing.

The inspector general’s report has not been made public, but Jordan and Meadows’ offices have a copy of it. [Read More]

Spring break fully restored for Prince George’s County Public Schools (Fox 5 DC)

The Prince George’s County Board of Education has voted to fully restore spring break for students and staff.

The school board unanimously approved a motion Thursday night to restore the scheduled days off after the school district announced last week that spring break would be shortened to a single day to make up for weather-related school closures this school year.

All Prince George’s County Public Schools will be closed all of next week. Schools had been scheduled to be closed on Friday and Monday for the Easter holiday, [Read More]

Hillary Clinton’s Value Plunges As She Suffers 90% Cut In Speech Fee (Daily Wire)

When last we saw Hillary Clinton, she was blaming women across America for being subservient to their husbands and voting for Donald Trump.

Oh, and falling down some stairs in India — twice. And breaking her wrist (she’s now wearing a cast on her right arm after “slipping in the bathtub”).

But Hillary’s back in the states now and, as it turns out, her value has plummeted.

The 2016 loser used to charge $250,000 for speaking engagements, back when people thought the former Secretary of State might be sweeping into the White House. That fee dropped 90% this week when she spoke at Rutgers University for just $25,000 (and we know “just” is a relative term). [Read More]

GOP Senator: Trump Will be Receptive to F-35 Sales to Taiwan (Washington Free Beacon

A senior Republican senator who called on President Donald Trump to allow the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Taiwan believes he will be receptive to the proposal given the administration’s inclination to check China’s economic and military rise.

“After eight years of international weakness from President Obama, President Trump is finally restoring America’s place as the leader of the free world,” Sen. Jim Inhofe (R., Okla.) told the Washington Free Beacon. “We’re no longer going to be afraid of doing what is right and standing up for our allies at the risk of offending our adversaries.”

Tensions between Beijing and Taipei have escalated since the island’s 2016 election of President Tsai Ing-wen, a member of the pro-independence Democratic Progressive Party. China claims Taiwan is under its sovereignty and refuses to renounce the option of deploying force against the democratic state should it pursue independence. [Read More]

U.S. Attorney John Huber, tapped by Sessions to probe FBI, first appointed by Obama (Washington Times)

John Huber, the U.S. attorney probing the FBI for possible political corruption, was first appointed to his position by President Barack Obama.

However, he was reappointed to the post of U.S. attorney for Utah by President Trump last June, with the backing of that state’s senior Republican senator.

Now he’s handling the FBI corruption probe, according to Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a Thursday statement. [Read More]
