WASHINGTON (WMAL) –Prince George’s County Police are now confirming several people in taken into custody for questioning about an assault at a Prince George’s County high school are gang-affiliated.

“Detectives in this case have determined that the suspects in this case are gang-affiliated,” said Jennifer Donelan, Director of Media Relations Division for Prince George’s County Police, to WMAL.
Officers were responding to a group forming just off school property when they arrived to find the victim “staggering out of the woods.”

The victim, whose name has not been made public was stabbed multiple times according to police.
Police say that the victim is being treated at the hospital and that the investigation is ongoing.
