ANNAPOLIS–(WMAL) Roughly three years after announcing he had late stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan opened a news conference on Thursday announcing he once again has Cancer.
The Governor says he’s been receiving treatment for age spots, visiting a dermatologist every six months. This time, they did a biopsy and determined it was Basal and Squamous Carcinomas.
“While you guys are enjoying the weekend, I will be getting my face cut into this Saturday. And then I’ll be back to work on Monday morning,” Hogan said.
The Governor says the procedure will be done at his dermatology office in Annapolis.
“Luckily, scars are cool,” Hogan joked with reporters. “I hate to mess with this beautiful face, but I’m going to have some stitches.”
Hogan says this cancer is not related to his diagnosis back in 2015.
