WASHINGTON (WMAL) — A fire that destroyed a home in Ashburn over the weekend was intentionally set. That’s according to the Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office.
The fire department was called just after 2am Saturday to the 42,000 block of Via Veneto Way.
Officials say that there was no one in the house at the time and that no one was injured.
The damages to the house are estimated at over a million dollars.
Police are asking anyone with any information to please contact them as the investigation continues.
