This morning Chris Plante talked about CBS and their attempt to allege that Trump has Alzheimer’s!  Listen:

It starts with this Trump tweet, which is about the Wolff book that everyone is talking about:

I’ve had to put up with the Fake News from the first day I announced that I would be running for President. Now I have to put up with a Fake Book, written by a totally discredited author. Ronald Reagan had the same problem and handled it well. So will I!

Note, the PROBLEM he is discussing is Fake News, and a hostile media.  Keep that in mind.

Later on, CBS news penned a piece mainly about the contentious Jake Tapper interview with Stephen Miller, but also taking shots at Trump himself.  Here is a quote:

He compared questions of his mental fitness, raised by Wolff’s book, to that of President Ronald Reagan, who had suffered from Alzheimer’s disease toward the end of his presidency. Mr. Trump wrote that Reagan “had the same problem and handled it well. So will I!”

Now look back at that tweet.  Does any of that line up?

(Side note, despite some people looking for signs in the past, Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1994, 5 years after he left office – Not toward ‘the end of his presidency’.)

This is textbook Fake News, and as Chris often says – The media takes what you said, changes it, then attacks you for what you didn’t say.
