RICHMOND (WMAL) — Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe released a statement today urging Congress not to repeal the individual mandate in Obamacare.
“The proposal in the U.S. Senate to repeal the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate will create further chaos in an already volatile insurance market,” read the statement.

There have been efforts in Congress to include this repeal in the Republican’s tax cut bill.
McAuliffe says that this “would be a disaster for the middle class and our economy.”
