PG Man Arrested for Child Porn

Accokeek, MD — Wednesday morning, a 23-year-old Prince George’s man was arrested and charged with three counts of distribution and six counts of possession of child pornography.

Austin Whyte was arrested at his residence at about 8:45 am by Prince George’s County Police. Maryland State Police, Homeland Security Investigations personnel, and PGPD served a search warrant following a referral from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that identified distribution of child pornography from Whyte’s internet address. According to the Maryland State Police press release, Whyte was arrested, after law enforcement personnel found ‘multiple files of child pornography’ on Whyte’s electronic devices.

Whyte is awaiting an appearance before a court commissioner.
