5am – A/B/C   New York terror truck driver pledged allegiance to ISIS: Uzbek man, 29, who killed eight and injured 15 with his vehicle while shouting Allahu Akbar near Ground Zero left behind notes and a flag

• Police insiders say Uzbek man Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, 29, is the terrorist who killed civilians Tuesday
• Eight people are dead and 15 people have been injured after he drove for a mile down a bike path
• He immigrated to the US in 2010 and has lived in Ohio and Florida, and currently resides in New Jersey
• Saipov has two trucking companies registered under his name, and also worked as an Uber driver
• One man who knew him said he was very friendly and good with kids, but feared having his photo taken
• Saipov allegedly mounted West Side Highway bike path at 3.05pm on Tuesday at Houston Street
• He then continued southbound for 17 blocks, mowing down pedestrians, runners and cyclists, cops said
• Only when he crashed into a school bus at Chambers Street did he stop; two kids were hurt, one critically
• The man was then seen brandishing two fake guns before being shot in the stomach by an NYPD officer
• He survived and is out of surgery. ISIS flags and notes pledging his allegiance were found in the truck he used
• Police are investigating a Home Depot in Passaic where Saipov is believed to have rented the truck

(Daily Mail) — The man who allegedly ran down cyclists and pedestrians along 17 Manhattan blocks pledged his allegiance to ISIS before his attack, it has emerged.  Police sources say Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, 29, entered a bicycle path at Houston Street at 3.05pm and drove downtown, knocking down victims before smashing into a school bus at  Chambers Street, exiting and shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’. He then waved a paintball gun in one hand and a pellet gun in the other, and was shot in the abdomen by a police officer. He has now come out of surgery and police are waiting for him to wake up before they question him.  Images of ISIS flags were found in his truck, as well as handwritten notes pledging his allegiance to the terrorist group, insiders told the New York Post. As the horrific toll – currently at eight dead and at least 15 injured, including one child in critical condition – climbed up, details began to emerge about Saipov’s life.

In the interview, Kelly said the probe into Russian meddling is “very distracting” to President Trump.

• Clay Travis: Kaepernick Could Be a Fit to Back Up Brady in New England.Clay Travis suggested on his radio show that the New England Patriots could turn to free agent Colin Kaepernick to back up Tom Brady after the team traded quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers Monday. Travis noted the relationship President Donald Trump has with Patriots owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick as a potential issue, but said Kaepernick could be a “fit” with the team because they are known to take players who are “difficult to deal with” and make it work.
• ESPN Lost 480,000 Subscribers in October. No doubt, there are many frowns being worn on the faces of ESPN executives after reviewing the October Cable Coverage Estimates. ESPN lost over 15,000 subscribers for every day ending in “y,” during the month of October. There are a variety of ways, in which businesses judge whether they’re having a successful business day. However, if you’re losing over 15,000 customers a day, that is generally frowned upon.

• Eyewitnesses Describe Running Away From NYC Terrorist. (Daily Caller) — Two eyewitnesses to the terror attack in New York City Tuesday described to The Daily Caller how they ran away from the perpetrator after his vehicle smashed into innocent pedestrians. At least eight people were slain and almost a dozen  injured when a truck driver intentionally plowed through a group of people and aimed for a school bus in lower Manhattan outside of three public schools. Lynn Snowden Picket (sister-in-law to this reporter) and her eight-year old daughter Lauren both heard a loud crash outside the schoolyard gates of P.S. 89 in downtown Manhattan around the West Side Highway and Chambers Street. Snowden Picket, who was picking up her daughter from school, saw that a Home Depot truck had crashed. “When I came out of the school gates I heard a big loud bang and I looked up you know less than a block away. There was a Home Depot truck that had a hood that was up in smoke and was pouring out of the engine, and there were a lot of high school students who were kind of stumbling around and picking up their backpacks,” she said. Snowden Picket continued, “And I thought, ‘Oh my gosh did he plow into some kids?’ So, I was trying to look on the ground to see if anybody was lying there, like an obvious injured person, and I told Lauren maybe we should go over there and see if everyone’s OK and if we could help. And then, the whole crowd that had been kind of milling around there suddenly took off toward us and one kid said, ‘he has a gun!’”
