WASHINGTON — A Northern Virginia man is facing charges after Fairfax County Police say he shone a blue light laser at a police helicopter three times on Saturday night.
Carlos Zapata Rivero of Centreville was charged with Shining a Light/Laser Pointer at an Aircraft.
The officers were temporarily blinded by the laser, but there were no serious injuries.
