WASHINGTON (WMAL) — Meghan McCain, daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, announced via twitter that she will be leaving the “Outnumbered” show on the network:

I’m so thankful to @FoxNews for the chance to be on @OutnumberedFNC but I’m leaving to focus on other things, I have no doubt the show will

Ms. McCain had alluded earlier on twitter to the impact of her father’s illness on the entire McCain family saying that she “[lives] with the anxiety about what comes next.”

As of Friday, no announcements have been made as to her replacement.
