LAS VEGAS, NV — (WMAL) The final press conference for the “boxing match of the century” between Conor McGregor  and Floyd Mayweather was held Wednesday and tensions are high. Conor McGregor, a UFC fighter, will be fighting undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather, on Saturday, August 26 at 9 p.m. ET. The fight will be located at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and can be viewed on Showtime PPV. Officials are recommending purchasing the fight early in order to beat the rush Saturday night.

McGregor is considered the underdog in this fight because he will be restricted by the rules of boxing and will be going against Mayweather whose record is 49-0. However, McGregor is keeping his chin up and even showed up late to the press conference in order to show he is alpha. Needless to say, this event is one of the most anticipated events in history and will be viewed worldwide.

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are both the best at what they do but only Saturday’s fight will reveal who is truly the best fighter.
