WASHINGTON (AP) – Police say no arrest has been made in the slayings of three girls under the age of 10 who were found in a home in Clinton, Maryland Friday morning.
Prince George’s County Deputy Chief Sammy Patel said at a news conference Friday afternoon that investigators believe the crimes were confined to the home where the girls’ bodies were found.
Patel says police were called there about 7:35 a.m. Uniformed officers were met by relatives, who let them inside. Paramedics were called, but all three girls were pronounced dead. All three had trauma to their bodies.
Police spokeswoman Jennifer Donelan says investigators can’t say yet how, or even if, the three girls are related.
Patel says police are interviewing family members.
