Georgetown Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Critical

WASHINGTON – (WMAL) A shooting early Saturday morning in Georgetown has left one person dead, and another with critical injuries.

D.C. Police were called to the 3500 block of Water Street just before 3 a.m., according to the agency’s Twitter account.

A police spokesman confirmed nobody has been arrested and the scene is still active.

The location is under the Whitehurst Freeway, near the Key Bridge and the Potomac Boat Club.
