Listen as Larry spoke with James O’Keefe regarding the latest video from Project Veritas exposing CNN for their constant coverage of the Russia collusion to gain viewership.

O’Connor: Let’s talk some more about the content of this and what Bonifield told you, specifically, about what’s going on behind the scenes at CNN and how this isn’t about journalism it’s about money and ratings.

O’Keefe: Yes, I mean there is a lot to unpack here. It’s a smorgasbord of content as we say, but let’s start with the fact that he says in internal meetings with the CEO Jeff Zucker, by the way, your lead in CEO is massively [inaudible], ‘Let’s get back to Russia’. He said this in an internal meeting when the producer was trying to produce really relevant investigative reports about all different topics. The guy specializes in health producing and the CEO says, no no no, stop talking about climate accords we’re done with that, ‘let’s get back to Russia’. He also says, this producer, that CNN stories are a ‘witch hunt’ against Trump. He says that Trump is right in his analysis of CNN. And he says it’s ‘mostly BS right now, like we don’t have any giant proof’ of what is happening with Russia. It’s kind of hard to hear because he’s in an elevator, he’s inside – our reporter managed to get inside CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta – getting some material. He also says this, John Bonifield supervising producer at CNN, says that they treated President Obama differently than they treat President Trump. He says, ‘I think that if we had behaved that way with President Obama and scrutinized everything he was doing with as much scrutiny as we apply to Donald Trump, our viewers would have been turned off’. So he’s talking about the culture of the network and he’s being honest. He’s not a bad guy, he’s just telling the truth.
