WASHINGTON — (WMAL) The FBI is looking for your help in finding a man they’re calling the “American League Bandit”.

A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can lead federal authorities to a man who has held up a dozen banks in the area over the last 8 months.

The robber received his nickname because in each robbery, he was wearing either a Yankees or Orioles baseball cap.

The robberies started last November in Baltimore, and the most recent happened last Saturday at the Wells Fargo Bank on Bay Ridge Road in Annapolis.

The man is described as being in his 30s or 40s with salt and pepper facial hair.
