Listen as Larry spoke with Rep. Mike Kelly regarding President Trump reviving the coal mining industry in Pennsylvania, the deep state and more.

During the interview, Rep. Kelly addressed the concept of ‘the deep state’:

O’Connor: …People feel like they are losing any control over their government. They pulled the lever against the media, against the Democrats, against the bureaucracies in this town and put President Trump in the White House and now they feel like the deck is stacked against them. Do your colleagues get that? Do they understand the dangerous situation that they are sitting on right now if things progress?

Rep. Kelly: You and I both know this, in the form of government we have the most important things, that the people have trust and confidence in the people they send to represent them. What they don’t know is all of the deep state actors that are there. People who are not elected, people that get hired and get appointed and people who have been in these places for many many years. They don’t really have an allegiance to any President and they should be, they should be totally non-partisan. But the one thing I will tell you, we are not ankle deep or knee deep but waist deep and probably up around our neck deep of the deep state, whose whole mission in life right now is to complicate and make it more difficult for President Trump to get his agenda across.
