Listen as Larry spoke with Hollywood Conservative Chuck Woolery regarding his thoughts on politics in Washington.
During the interview, Woolery disagreed with O’Connor regarding the rhetoric from the Left:
O’Connor: Chuck, you sort of reinvented yourself and created this new career as a political commentator .. but you did it during that whole Tea Party movement. You know, I remember we did shows together. You and I and Andrew Breitbart at the time and we featured your videos and your commentary at the Breitbart sites. And back then, we were told those crazy right-wing Tea Party Conservatives were reeking havoc on our American political discourse and we were the violent ones, even though there was no violence that ever happened. It’s remarkable to see that and you sort of coming to age at that time observing things…
Woolery: You know I must tell you, I don’t mean to disagree with you but I don’t think it’s remarkable. If you look at the history of the Democratic party and how they handle things, it’s kind of like Ivanka Trump on Fox and Friends saying, I had no idea the vitriol and the hatred that would be coming from the Left toward my father and me and my family. If she had really paid attention to who those people are and what they do and how they operate, she really wouldn’t be surprised. It’s been going on for a long, long time. And I honestly believe that the American people are waking up and realizing that reading the New York Times, The Washington Post and their ilk you can’t believe a word they write because it’s all clouded by ideology and most of it is not true. And I realized that the Left, that’s their Gospel according to The New York Times and The Washington Post and MSNBC and CNN and on and on and on it goes.
