SILVER SPRING — (WMAL) Comedian Ben Bailey is returning to host Discovery’s revamped Cash Cab.

The Silver Spring-based company said in a press release that Bailey will be accompanied by famous celebrities each episode as he surprises New York taxi riders with trivia questions.

Bailey has won four Daytime Emmy Awards for hosting the show.

Bailey said in the release, “Holy #%$&!! Cash Cab is back!!! HUGE thanks to all the fans who pushed for the show (and for me) to come back! Never before has a comedian been so happy to go back to driving a cab. OMG I think I left the meter running!”
