LISTEN: Foundation for Defense Democracies’ Founder CLIFF MAY Explains Why ISIS Slaughtering Christians Deserves More Attention

Listen as Larry spoke with Cliff May, Founder and President of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, regarding the bus attack on Egyptian Christians.

May discussed how the terrorist targeted Christian children during their attack in Egypt:

O’Connor: So tell me what happened. It was a bus full of 50 people, 28 of them were killed, the other 22 were wounded. What happened here?

May: The bus was going to something called the Saint Samuel the Confessor Monastery. It’s kind of out of the way. It’s over 100 miles along the Cairo Luxor desert road. To get there, as I understand it, you go 17 miles on an unpaved road, where you have to drive very slowly. And the terrorist were waiting along the side of the road. I think in some sort of 4-wheel drive vehicle, but they were like game hunters. They were waiting for the deer to show up. And 3 buses came up. One of those buses were filled with children who were going to attend Sunday school, only 3 of the children survived. In other words, they were purposely targeting little children, little Christian children. And from the reports I’ve read, the victims were asked to recite the Islamic Declaration of Faith before they were being shot. And one more point I’ll make is in the past few months, the Islamic state has made its intentions towards Christians known, at least towards cops particularly, they are called our favorite prey.
