ARLINGTON — (WMAL) Two Arlington police officers were injured after a suspect they pulled over struck them.
One officer was flown to the hospital with serious injuries, and the other was treated by medics on the scene.
The officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Glebe Road ramp off I-395 at 4:30 pm. When the officers exited their vehicle, the suspect struck the officers with the vehicle.
Officers then shot at the suspect, who was transported to hospital in life threatening condition.
