Gillespie: Look, obviously the President’s prerogative, it’s any President’s prerogative to hire and fire an FBI Director. But obviously there have been a lot of questions and concerns raised about this decision right now. Obviously, this administration, the White House, the President need to address questions and concerns about timing and rationale. And like everyone else, I’m interested in learning those answers. Because it is critical that the American people have faith in our FBI, leadership and also in our administration.
