UPDATE 5:30 pm: The suspect was found dead in a home, as well as another deceased person.
DALLAS — (WMAL) A paramedic with the Dallas Fire Rescue Department was shot after responding to a call and is in critical condition.
The incident took place around around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of I-30 and Dolphin Road in Southeast Dallas.
Other officers were pinned down by gunfire
We have PIO headed to the scene, we can confirm one member of Dallas Fire Rescue has been shot and transported to a local hospital.
