WASHINGTON — (WMAL) House Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) will not be seeking re-election according to a post he made on his Facebook Wednesday morning:
Chaffetz’s decision comes amidst speculation that he may possibly run for Sen. Orin Hatch’s Senate seat in 2018.
However, according to the post, he will not seek any office in the Midterm elections, though he isn’t ruling out running for office in a later election.
