BREAKING: Military Jet Crashes South Of Joint Base Andrews

CLINTON, MD — (WMAL) Prince George’s County firefighters responded to a plane crash in Clinton this morning.

The plane was an F-16 fighter jet and landed south of Joint Base Andrews.

The pilot ejected by parachute and is in good condition.

Police spokesman Mark Brady spoke to reporters after the incident:

 

The plane apparently crashed into a wooded area amid neighborhoods full of homes. Homes within 200 yards of the landing site were evacuated.
