ROCKVILLE — (WMAL) Two suspects robbed a Rockville gun store, United Gun Shop, early this morning, escaping with multiple handguns and long guns.
Shortly before 4 a.m. Montgomery County police responded to a call that the alarm was set off at the 5465 Randolph Road store. The store’s manager told them multiple weapons were missing.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage of the incident in an effort to identify the suspects.
“Any time a firearm is stolen it’s a concern to the police, but when you have somebody break into a gun store that has access to multiple weapons, it ups the concern level considerably,” Officer Rick Goodale said.
