WASHINGTON — (WMAL) A few hundred people gathered at Freedom Plaza Wednesday Morning and marched to the White House.
It was all part of International Women’s Day and A Day Without A Woman.

The effort caused three school systems: Prince George’s County, Alexandria City and the Center City Public Charter Schools in Washington to close today due to a high number of teachers and staff requesting leave.
