WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Metro has approved new operating hours to begin this summer.
Beginning July 1, Metro will running from 5 a.m. to 11:30 Monday through Thursday, and 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays.
On Saturdays the trains will run from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. through 1 a.m.
These adjustments will allow for repairs to the system and will be in effect for two years.
