SILVER SPRING — (WMAL) A group of students from Montgomery Blair High School began protesting Donald Trump’s election by taking to the streets today.

They left campus to march down University Boulevard to the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Center and then downtown to Veterans Plaza.

“Disciplinary actions will be given in accordance with MCPS student code of conduct once the students are returned safely back to school,” Gboyindo Onijala, Montgomery County School spokesperson, said.

The punishment will be decided by the principal.
