WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Do you want to try and win a free year long supply of Chick-fil-A? If so, join the line of people that’s been growing since 6am this morning — a day before the Grand Openings of the new Bowie Marketplace and Sterling locations.
Chick-fil-A restaurant is offering a free year of Chick-fil-A meals to the first 100 adults through the door tomorrow, November 3, according to a Chick-fil-A announcement.
Almost 60 people have already arrived at Bowie Marketplace Chick-fil-A and also at Sterling Chick-fil-A 24 hours in advance, according to a Chick-fil-A spokesperson, who said that they’ll continue registering people to stay overnight until there are 100 people registered.
The first 100 celebration is a Chick-fil-A company tradition that goes back 12 years. During those years, the company has given away over $27 million in free food at store grand openings. Nothing seems to stop fans who show up at the locations with tents, chairs, and other gear, not even rain, snow or extreme temperatures.
Each fan is hoping to win a digital offer card loaded with a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals (52 meals with each consisting of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium beverage) that will be awarded to the first 100 eligible adults, ages 18 and older with identification, in line when the doors open at 6 a.m. tomorrow. The community event is open to guests residing in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant.
