WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Z-Burger Restaurant owner, Peter Tabibian, is publicly announcing his political opinions by displaying a painting of Hillary Clinton in the restaurant’s window.

Tabibian’s family left Iran in order to avoid persecution regarding their religion and says that Clinton represents “hope and values that are the foundation of this great country”

The painting was created by the artist Peter Galifianakis and is titled “Victory Is Liberty.” Galifianakis created a companion piece of window art inspired by Clinton’s convention speech line, “Where there are no ceilings the sky’s the limit.”

“I respect and appreciate Hillary Clinton’s life-long, tireless devotion to provide all Americans with health care, the opportunity for an affordable, top-notch education, and good jobs.  As our next President, she will bring a positive vision for moving America forward, and a sincere love of country, evident in her life’s work,” he said.

Tabibian hopes that individuals will be inspired and reminded by the art installation to register and vote in this upcoming election.
