WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Prince George’s County Police are investigating another incident on board a school bus.

A private nurse caring for a student on a school bus is alleged to have attacked another student with special needs on the bus on September 1st.

There are reports of physical abuse while the bus was parked at C. Elizabeth Reig regional school in Bowie.

Multiple outlets are saying that the entire incident was captured on video and was seen by CEO Kevin Maxwell, who forwarded it to the police last week. It allegedly shows the private nurse punching the 20-year old student multiple times. At one point the sources say the nurse uses her shoe to beat the student.

The incident is alleged to have happened on Sept. 1 on a bus heading to the C. Elizabeth Reig school in Bowie. The video has been handed over to Prince George’s County police who are now investigating the case.

The nurse is a private nurse, not a Prince George’s County Public Schools employee.

As of now, no charges have been filed as the investigation remains in its early stages, but Prince George’s Schools said in a statement that five employees have been placed on leave as the investigation continues.
