Hyattsville, MD — (WMAL) A security guard for a hotel on the campus of the University of Maryland remains in critical condition after being shot in the early morning hours on Tuesday.
The shooting happened during a robbery at the College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. According to the hotel’s general manager, suspects walked away with three lock boxes.
Police currently have a suspect in custody, but are still searching for a second gunman. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-405-3555.
