WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Vice Presidential candidate Governor Mike Pence will be appearing in Loudoun County Virginia on Saturday, for a campaign rally, at Patrick Henry College, a conservative Christian school.

Doors open at noon and the event is scheduled for 3 p.m. People who want to attend the event may register for tickets at Trump’s website.

The trip to Loudoun,a county that all pundits agree is a swing county, follows Trump’s rally at Loudoun’s Briar Woods High School in Ashburn.

Will Estrada, the Chairman of Loudoun County’s Republican Committee, said “The Republican and Democrat parties, we don’t agree on much, but we all agree that Loudoun County is one of those ‘must win’ counties.”

Since Clinton introduced Kaine as her running mate July 23, Trump and Pence have campaigned in Roanoke, Ashburn, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Abingdon and Fredericksburg.

President Barack Obama swept Northern Virginia in 2008 and in 2012. He carried Loudoun County with 54 percent of the vote in 2008 and with 51.6 percent of the vote in 2012.

“The polls vary day by day,” Estrada said, “but the only poll that matters though is election day.”
