WASHINGTON — (WMAL) One suspect is in custody after three teenagers hijacked a bus on Minnesota Avenue NE Tuesday morning.

According to media reports, one of the teens stabbed the bus driver with a screwdriver, then took the bus for a joyride, striking a pedestrian before stopping the bus at Minnesota Avenue and Nannie Helen Burroughs Blvd. NE.

The pedestrian is reported to have been critically injured.  The driver of the bus was noy apparently seriously injured.
