Nestlé recalls glass-contaminated food

WASHINGTON (WMAL)– Food giant Nestlé is recalling nearly three million boxes of frozen products due to reports that customers were finding glass in the food.

The recalled products include DiGiorno pizza, Lean Cuisine ravioli, and Stouffer’s lasagna. Nestlé believes the pieces of glass came from spinach used in the meals, according to a press release.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the glass pieces, Nestlé said.
