Jan 25 (Reuters) – U.S. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said on Monday he was “not 100 percent” certain he would participate in a debate this week co-hosted by Fox News Channel because he did not think moderator Megyn Kelly could treat him fairly. Trump told CNN he would probably participate, but added: “I’m not 100 percent; I’ll see. If I think I’m going to be treated unfairly, I’ll do something else. But I don’t think she can treat me fairly, actually, I think she’s very biased. But that doesn’t mean I don’t do the debate.”

6am – C         Man in panda suit challenges Tian Tian to a snow battle. Tian Tian, one of the National Zoo’s giant pandas, stole our hearts when he rolled around in the snow during Winter Storm Jonas on Saturday. Now, a Maryland man has tried to one up the giant fur ball by recreating the bear’s viral video. Decked out in a cartoonish panda suit, Jeffrey Perez rolls and dives in the snow and even sticks his foot in his mouth — a direct homage to the most memed moment in Tian Tian’s video. “I challenge #tiantian to a snow battle!” Perez wrote after posting the video on his Facebook page.

• Lena Dunham: I Want to Tell the Media Which Words It Can’t Say about Hillary. In an interview with Variety on Sunday, the always-insightful Lena Dunham said that she “literally” wants to tell the media what words they’re not allowed to say about Hillary Clinton. “Like, I literally want to make a list that we hand to media outlets that says, like, ‘These are the words you can’t use when describing a female candidate,’” she said. Examples of the words she would ban included “shrill,” “inaccessible,” and “difficult.” Now, you might think that this sounds like a bit much, but Dunham insists that the media is “rabidly sexist” against Hillary “in every single portrayal.” Yep, that’s right — not just sometimes or even most of the time, but every single portrayal. “If we were allowed to talk about male candidates like that, I’d have a f****** field day,” she said. “I’d enjoy my life so much. Sorry, I get too worked up.”
• Kristen Stewart on Gender Inequality in Hollywood: ‘Do Something … Instead of Sitting Around and Complaining’ While promoting her latest film Certain Women at Sundance, Kristen Stewart spoke to Variety about Hollywood’s gender inequality issues. “Like in any business that’s so old, it’s going to have a somewhat narrow view,” she explains in the clip above. “It’s awkward, I’m so fucking lucky and so stimulated and driven, like not bored, and I have something in front of me all the time. It sounds weird for me to sit around and be like, It’s not fair! Guys make more money because their movies make more money. Let’s start making more movies. It makes sense.” “If you’re bored, or if you feel like there’s a lack of something in front of you, it’s silly for me to say, ‘Go do something’ … Instead of sitting around and complaining about that, do something,” she adds, stage-whispering the last part. “And you know, that’s easy for me to say, like fuck, it’s hard to get movies made. 6am – E         Planned Parenthood cleared, but 2 indicted over videos. While abortion opponents have had Planned Parenthood in their sights for years, attacks on the organization have been particularly effective following the release of a controversial series of undercover videos in the summer of 2015 produced by an anti-abortion group. A grand jury convened to investigate whether a Houston Planned Parenthood clinic had sold the organs of aborted fetuses on Monday cleared the clinic and instead indicted the undercover videographers behind the allegations, surprising the officials who called for the probe and delighting supporters of the women’s health organization. The Harris County grand jury indicted David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, both of California, on charges of tampering with a governmental record, a second-degree felony with a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison. It also charged Daleiden, the leader of the videographers, with the same misdemeanor he had alleged – the purchase or sale of human organs, presumably because he had offered to buy in an attempt to provoke Planned Parenthood employees into saying they would sell. Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson announced the indictments in a statement, noting the probe had lasted more than two months.

• Brian Wilson is touring classic Beach Boys album Pet Sounds for the final time. Beach Boys leader and songwriter Brian Wilson is taking Pet Sounds, one of the most universally loved albums of all time, out on the road for a final tour. The upcoming dates span Europe, Asia, Australasia, and several venues in the US, and will mark the last times that Wilson plays the record in full, according to Pitchfork. “It’s really been a trip to sit here and think about releasing Pet Sounds 50 years ago,” Wilson says in a statement. “I love performing this album with my band and look forward to playing it for fans all across the world.”
• Dave Matthews Band announces 25th anniversary tour. In 2016, the Dave Matthews Band turns 25, and they’re hitting the road to celebrate the big anniversary. The Virginia jam band unveiled details about its North American tour this summer; the band is pegged to play 46 nights in 37 different cities. The festivities kick off May 11 in Wichita, Kansas and end with an all-out Labor Weekend celebration, with the band spending three days at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Catch the band while you can: In Monday’s announcement, DMB also declared they would not tour in 2017.

• Global Stocks Sink Amid China ‘Doom’ Fears – CNBC – China markets plunged again Tuesday, but global markets steadied on news of recovering crude prices and a percolating deal to tackle one of the biggest supply gluts in decades. China’s Shanghai Composite closed down 6.4 percent to finish at 2,749.78, the lowest since December 2014, but U.S. stock index futures edged up on Tuesday, with crude prices hovering slightly above $30 a barrel. Hopes have been bolstered by a pending agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC producers to curb production, Reuters reported.
