ROCKVILLE — (WMAL) The District of Columbia, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and the City of Fairfax will not be collecting trash on Monday.

Garbage collection services in these areas are on hold until the snow melts or is removed from the street.

The District of Columbia will not collect garbage on Monday or Tuesday.

Prince George’s County wrote in a statment that “all County-contracted residential trash collection services, including bulky trash, recycling and yard waste collection remain suspended until further notice.”

Montgomery County advised that “Residents should not take their trash cans and recycling bins to the curb.”

Montgomery also mentionted that county officials have not decided whether Ride On bus service will be available tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Fairfax garbage collection scheduled for Monday will occur on Tuesday instead.
