SUITLAND — (WMAL) A strip mall in the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road in Suitland caught fire in the middle of the blizzard.

Prince George’s County Fire Chief Mark Brady said that the wind from the storm was causing the flames to spread further down the strip mall.

The firefighters managed to put out most of the flames but are still fighting stray patches throughout the building.

Brady said on Twitter that there was “Plenty of overhaul and hotspots to handle.”

He also reported that there were no injuries in the fire.

The fire department posted a video of the blaze as it moved through the shopping center.
