5am – A/B     CNN/WMUR Poll: Sanders trouncing Clinton in New Hampshire.

5am – C         Inspector General: Clinton emails had intel from most secretive, classified programs. (Fox News/By Catherine Herridge) — EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Clinton’s emails on her unsecured, homebrew server contained intelligence from the U.S. government’s most secretive and highly classified programs, according to an unclassified letter from a top inspector general to senior lawmakers. Fox News exclusively obtained the unclassified letter, sent Jan. 14 from Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III. It laid out the findings of a recent comprehensive review by intelligence agencies that identified “several dozen” additional classified emails — including specific intelligence known as “special access programs” (SAP). That indicates a level of classification beyond even “top secret,” the label previously given to two emails found on her server, and brings even more scrutiny to the presidential candidate’s handling of the government’s closely held secrets.

5am – D         DRIVE AT FIVE INTERVIEW: DR. DREW PINSKY – Board Certified Internist/Addictionologist MD • Host of HLN’s Dr. Drew On Call

  • Mourning celebrities: Fans are grieving over the passing of David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Glenn Frey. Why are celebs so important to us? People on social media have experienced a national mourning like these pop culture icons were family. As the Classic Rockers and aging Hollywood stars pass on at an increasing rate, what does it say about America’s infatuation with popular culture/entertainment that we’re devastated by their passing? Why do we care so much about people we never met?

5am – E         Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter will line up just before sunrise TODAY. (ABC News) – Get ready for a glimpse of our neighbors in the solar system. Five bright planets — Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter — will be visible just before sunrise beginning Jan. 20. The planetary spectacle is expected to last for the next month — and the best part is, people hoping to get a look at the cosmic occurrence can enjoy it with the naked eye. On Wednesday, about an hour before sunrise, look for the planets to be aligned diagonally on the southern horizon. It will be the first time in 11 years the five planets — the only others in our solar system capable of being visible to the naked eye — have shown themselves at the same time, according to EarthSky.org. The best viewing is expected to be in the early morning hours with a clear sky. The easiest way to find the arc is to locate Venus on the southeastern horizon, Earth’s nearest planetary neighbor. It’s the brightest planet in Earth’s dark skies — with only the moon shining brighter, according to NASA. Mars will appear as a reddish dot. Don’t be fooled by the planets’ order from the sun.

  • Donald Trump gets nod from John Wayne’s family: Same ‘courage, strength’ as the Duke. WINTERSET, Iowa — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is kicking off a swing through Iowa at the John Wayne Birthplace Museum, where he received an endorsement from the Western film actor’s daughter, Aissa Wayne. She said John Wayne would be offering his endorsement if he were still alive. 7am – A         INTERVIEW – KEN KLUKOWSKI — national-bestselling author, constitutional lawyer and Legal Editor, Breitbart News Network

  • Supreme Court agrees to review Obama immigration plan. The Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to review President Obama’s plan to shield up to 5 million illegal immigrants from deportation, after lower courts blocked the president’s sweeping executive actions from taking effect. The decision sets up an election-year clash over the controversial plan that many Republicans have likened to “amnesty.” The justices said Tuesday they will consider undoing lower court rulings that blocked the plan from taking effect. The Obama administration had appealed to the Supreme Court last fall. The decision to review the case may be welcome on both sides of the aisle. Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch, of Utah, issued a statement praising the court for taking it on – and urging the justices to rule against the administration.

8am – E         10% of college graduates think Judge Judy is a Supreme Court justice: (The Hill) – Nearly 10 percent of college graduates think television’s Judge Judy serves on the Supreme Court, according to a new report released this month. The report, titled “A Crisis in Civic Education,” was based on a survey of 1,000 adults in August and concludes that “recent college graduates are alarmingly ignorant of America’s history and heritage.” “They cannot identify the term lengths of members of Congress, the substance of the First Amendment, or the origin of the separation of powers,” the report said, referring to college graduates. The lack of civic knowledge extended to the Supreme Court, where 9.6 percent of college graduates incorrectly identified Judith Sheindlin — who handles small legal disputes on the TV show “Judge Judy” — as a justice. Another 5.5 percent of college grads picked John Kerry, the former senator who is now secretary of State, as a member of the court. Of those surveyed, the report found only 28.4 percent of college graduates identified James Madison as the father of the Constitution, while 59.2 percent thought the answer was Thomas Jefferson.
