WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Although Christmas Day falls on a Friday, WMATA is considering it part of the weekend.
Today’s Metro bus and train schedules will run as if it were Sunday.
Metro rail stations opened at 7 a.m. today and will close at 3 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Parking is free at Metro stations and all fares are off-peak.
Saturday and Sunday will follow a normal weekend schedule and fares.
