WASHINGTON — (WMAL) A woman was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg on Thursday, according to Montgomery County Police. The injuries she sustained are “non-life threatening.”

The woman, who police described as “in her early 60’s”, was in the mall parking lot when she was attacked by a younger male, who stopped his attack when a nearby citizen in a car began to honk a car horn to alert others in the area.

There are no suspects at this point according to police. The attacker is still at large.
