STERLING, VA — (WMAL) There’s a new rule of society that discerning people should follow. Always assume you’re being recorded on video.

An angry driver in Loudoun County whose F-Bomb laced tirade against a teenage pedestrian at a busy Sterling intersection last week was caught on video by a passing motorcyclist, who just happened to be recording with his helmet-mounted webcam at the time.

The driver was apparently upset that the teenager did not see him coming as he crossed the road, and he was in the process of ripping the teen a new one when the cyclist pulled up and urged the Jeep driver to calm down.

If peace and tranquility were the goals of the cyclist, he fell short of the mark. The Jeep driver instead let out another stream of invectives, and threatened to press harassment charges against the video-toting busybody.

Eventually, sheriff’s deputies arrived and calmer heads prevailed. No one was arrested, and the incident soon ended – everywhere but on the internet.
