WASHINGTON — (WMAL) A new poll gives Maryland Governor Larry Hogan a healthy approval rating after nine months on the job.

The Goucher College Poll gave Hogan a 58 percent job approval rating. Among Republicans the approval rating is 80 percent, but even among Maryland Democrats, it’s 54 percent.

Eighteen percent disapprove of the way the governor is doing his job.

Many of those who like the job Hogan’s doing also acknowledge they like the way he’s dealing with his cancer.
