WASHINGTON — (WMAL) A woman is selling her grandmother’s home in Temple Hills, Maryland for $100 – and a winning chocolate recipe.
Chocolate maker Christina Summers is holding a contest for the suburban home, which she describes as “move-in ready.”
After accomplishing her goal of owning a business, Dolce Vite Chocolatto, Summers wants to pass on the same opportunity to someone else.
“Your house payments tend to be usually very high and quite a burden, so it’s hard for people to start businesses,” she said.
If enough people apply for Summers’ house, she will give it to one lucky winner, and make a profit equal to the home’s market value.
Summers will accept entries on her company’s website until July 31st. She will contact the winner through their phone or e-mail address.
