Youngest Mayor in Maryland History Elected in Charles County. Brandon Paulin is a 19-year-old college student. Maryland officials will swear in the youngest mayor ever in the state: a 19-year-old college student. Brandon Paulin won Tuesday’s mayoral election in the town of Indian Head with 239 of the 383 votes cast. He’s a student at the College of Southern Maryland. Paulin and the two other members of the town council will be sworn in Tuesday.
