Republican Larry Hogan warns that budget cuts are in Maryland's future, saying, "People are going to have to brace."

Hogan says there will be very tough budget decisions to make — but he added, "that's what the voters elected me to do."

It's estimated that Maryland's budget shortfall will reach nearly $1.2 billion over the next two years.  Hogan has committed to balancing the budget without raising taxes.

He won't say which programs he plans to cut.
