5am – A/B/C Ferguson Recap: 'Disappointed' Holder Vows New Federal Action to Build Trust After Ferguson

5am – D         INTERVIEW – KEN BOONE – Weather Channel – preview Thanksgiving travel and weather

5am – E         Obama Admits: 'I Just Took an Action to Change the Law' The White House has argued that President Obama's executive amnesty order last week was made well within the existing law. But in remarks in Chicago tonight, President Obama went off script and admitted that in fact he unilaterally made changes to the law. President Obama made the admission after getting heckled for several minutes by immigration protesters. "All right, OK. OK. I understand," Obama told the protesters after letting them go on for some time. "Listen. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Young lady, young lady, don't just — don't just start — don't just start yelling, young ladies. Sir, why don't you sit down, too? "Listen, you know — here. Can I just say this, all right? I've listened to you. I heard you. I heard you. I heard you. All right? Now I have been respectful, I let you holler. All right? So let me just — nobody is removing you. I have heard you, but you have got to listen to me, too. All right? And I understand you may disagree,  I understand you may disagree. But we have got to be able to talk honestly about these issues, all right? "Now, you're absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations. That's true. But what you are not paying attention to is the fact that I just took an action to change the law."

6am – A/B/C Friendsgiving, a new tradition to be thankful for. (Washington Post) — Shauna Alexander’s Friendsgiving story began in the traditional way: She was avoiding her family. “I was having some tough times with my parents — as one does when they’re 25,” she recalls. “It was just growing pains with the folks.” So, instead of going home to New York for Thanksgiving that year, Alexander lied and told her parents that she had to work on Friday and was stuck in Washington. Then she went out and bought the video game “Rock Band,” cooked a bunch of food and invited all her friends who were left in town over for dinner. The evening was laid-back and boozy and so, so much fun. That was five years ago — and Alexander hasn’t been home for Thanksgiving since. She is among those who ardently believe in the superiority of a Thanksgiving spent with friends. Benefits: no travel, no drama and the ability to sleep in your own bed, assuming that you don’t pass out on your buddy’s couch. It’s not that Friendsgiving advocates aren’t thankful for family. They definitely are. Just, you know, from a distance.

6am – D         Police Officer Darren Wilson Explains How He Feared for His Life. (ABC News) — Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson has spoken out to ABC News for the first time publicly since fatally shooting a black teenager, Michael Brown, and he said that he would not do anything differently. Speaking exclusively to ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Wilson said that Brown reached into his police car and grabbed for his gun, causing Wilson to fear for his life. "All I wanted to do was live," said Wilson, who the grand jury declined to indict in connection with the fatal shooting in August. He told ABC News about the struggle he faced with Brown as the teen allegedly punched Wilson in the face. "I didn't know if I'd be able to withstand another hit like that," Wilson said. "I had reached out my window with my right hand to grab onto his forearm 'cause I was gonna try and move him back and get out of the car to where I'm no longer trapped," Wilson said.

6am – E         Redskins to start McCoy over RG III. The Washington Redskins are planning to start Colt McCoy over Robert Griffin III this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, a team source said Tuesday night. While Griffin is not a part of Washington's plan for Sunday's game, he still appears to be a significant part of the Redskins' long-term plan, according to another source. Yet right now, the Redskins are hitting the reset button, though it might not last long, a source cautioned, as Washington has high hopes for the coming offseason.

7am – A/B/C             Deal Breaker Celebration Items: Essential Traditions For The Ultimate Family Thanksgiving

7am – D         INTERVIEW – KT MCFARLAND – Fox News National Security Analyst

>> National Security expert: Thankful for my daughters and Walt Disney

>> Guantanamo added to White House-Hagel friction. When Obama began pushing last year to reinvigorate the process of closing Guantanamo, White House aides repeatedly urged Hagel to sign off on transfers of detainees who’d long been cleared for release. Yet for months the defense secretary refused to sign certifications that the future threat posed by the prisoners could be adequately mitigated, according to a U.S. official.

7am – E         Entertainment news:

  • 'Frozen' toys could top Barbie toys in holiday sales. Looks like Elsa is more popular than Barbie these days: A National Retail Federation survey found that parents are more interested in buying Frozen toys than Barbie ones for their kids this holiday season, according to the Associated Press. Twenty percent of parents surveyed plan to buy Frozen-related toys while 16.8 percent are planning to buy something Barbie-related. This is the first time in 11 years that Barbie hasn’t occupied the top spot.
  • Alfonso Ribeiro wins in 'Dancing With The Stars' finale; Sadie Robertson finishes 2nd. Alfonso Ribeiro did The Carlton all the way home with the Mirrorball Trophy on a wildly close Nov. 25 season finale of "Dancing With The Stars," leaving Sadie Robertson in second place and Janel Parrish in third. This season has been one of the most competitive, which judges noted during finals yesterday and tonight.
