Responsibilities: Host of a 5 day per week morning show in the Classic Rock/Rock format. Must be able to briefly, yet creatively connect with the Classic Rock/Rock audience with knowledge of the music and by incorporating a variety of local and topical content into each hour, while still playing music. Ability to assist in design of on-air and on-site contesting/promotions for the show; ability to supply daily digital content and have excellent creative production skills. Must have strong interviewing skills, a strong sense of humor and a proven track record of success. Incorporating listeners, characters, stunts and fun into memorable bits a weekly must. Must have a positive attitude on-air, with clients, in the hallways and on site. Must be willing to take direction. Should also have a strong desire to be a part of community driven events/causes.
Required Qualifications: Education: High school graduate Work Experience: 5 years on-air in a top 25 market Technical Skills: Selector, ENCO and digital studio equipment as well as having skills necessary for creating web and other digital platform content. Non-technical Skills: Confident, passionate, disciplined, a motivated team player with an unyielding desire to win and an positive attitude.
